5 reasons why aloe vera gel is a blessing for your skin and hair

For centuries now, aloe vera has been considered as a magic potion for skin and hair care. From being regarded as ‘the plant of immortality’ by ancient Egyptians to finding its place in modern-day dermatological research and application, this plant has truly stood the test of time.

Aloe vera is rich in vitamins A, C, E, B12 and packs a solid punch of minerals well. So, the gel extracted from this plant helps in treating issues ranging from wounds to skin ageing.

In fact, here are five problems that you can easily treat with the benefits of good-old aloe vera gel

1. Skin dehydration and ageing

The amino acids in aloe vera gel help moisturize the skin and make it more elastic as well as less wrinkled. The plant in itself thrives in dry climates and hence, as a natural mechanism, it is conditioned to store water in its leaves, which when combined with the amino acids and complex carbohydrates present in the plant, make for a fantastic hydrating agent for the skin.

Moreover, this vitamins C and E, and beta carotene-rich plant gel gives the skin nourishing and anti-ageing qualities as it moisturises it without making it greasy.

2. It helps with wound healing

Aloe vera has been known historically as a healing agent and this property of protecting the skin even finds prevalence in modern scientific research. The gel, when applied on a wound, increases collagen, thereby accelerating wound contraction and reducing the strength of resulting scar tissue.

What also helps is the presence of the novel anti-inflammatory compound called C-glucosyl along with lupeol in the aloe vera gel that speeds up the healing process of wounds as well as provides anti-septic relief.

3. It can reduce hair fall

Aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes which are known to repair dead skin cells on the scalp. Not just that, the gel acts as a great conditioner and can make your hair smooth and shiny.

Aloe vera gel also helps in hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp and reduces dandruff. This miraculous plant happens to have a similar chemical make-up to that of keratin (the primary hair protein) and hence, rejuvenates the hair and prevents breakage.

4. It can fight dental plaque and cavities

Aloe vera is also known to be an effective countermeasure for teeth-related problems. Due to the presence of anthraquinone compounds that actively heal and reduce pain through natural anti-inflammatory effects, aloe vera gel can help with tooth pain and reduce swelling.

Also, the plant’s natural ingredients, such as vitamin C, block plaque and provide relief for bleeding gums.

5. Aloe can protect your skin from the sun

Aloe vera is regarded to have protective effects against radiation damage. Its antioxidant properties help synthesize the protein(s) in our skin to prevent UV-induced harmful effects and delay hypersensitivity.

Hence, aloe vera gel, if applied from time to time, will protect against skin cell damage due to UV rays and will help maintain the structural integrity of the skin by curing the damage caused by these harmful rays.

Aloe vera is truly a magical plant that can solve so many of our problems!

  16. Yeah, I agree with your points here.. Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair. And for skin “It contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin.” Chang added that when it comes to acne, Aloe Vera works best on superficial surface acne rather than cystic or deeper acne.

Economic Effects of COVID-19 Around the World

As the world grapples with the coronavirus, the economic impact is mounting - with the OECD warning the virus presents the biggest danger to the global economy since the 2008 financial crisis. UNCTAD, the UN trade agency, warned of a slowdown of global growth to under 2% this year, effectively wiping $1 trillion off the value of the world economy. A poll of economists by the London School of Economics found 51% believed the world faces a major recession, even if COVID-19 kills no more people than seasonal flu. Only 5% said they did not think it would. There are now some 170,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 globally, the new coronavirus that emerged in Wuhan, China, in December and is spreading around the world. Businesses are dealing with lost revenue and disrupted supply chains due to China’s factory shutdowns. Weeks after China imposed travel restrictions on million of its people, Italy placed quarantine measures on its entire population, with France and Spain imposing si

High Street Fashion

A high-mode mark is recognized as rapid mode retail, an increasing fashion industry phenomenon. The goal of fast fashion is to place clothing in distributors as quickly as feasible. Some highway distributors buy and buy fresh fashionable products every week and refill stocks. Fashion companies use time more and more as a factor to increase competitiveness. Regarding the rapid fashion business model, they were accomplished a competitive advantage through rapidly reacting to trends. The purchase and dressing of new garments are an increasingly successful way to enhance the mood of some individuals. It seems that increasing numbers of individuals are dependent upon their emotions when they decide to wear something fresh. These feelings can improve or strengthen their uniqueness or their enjoyment in introducing a distinct aspect to the globe. Forgiveness

Forgiveness has three aspects:  To forgive anyone for having wronged  To ask for forgiveness from the one whom we have  To forgive yourself Of the three, I believe that the last one is the hardest. Forgiving those who seemed to have wronged us is better than asking for forgiveness. With the passage of time when the initial pain they caused us starts to become dull and distant and because we see they do not repeat their old habits, because we see that there is a genuine change in them, and that they apologise and seek us for forgiveness enthusiastically, excited and genuinely we find it more convenient to forgive them. It's better to give them a second chance. We replay all the memories of the good times with them in our heads and use this positivity to cancel out one or two actions of negativity they have done. With the passage of time, and with changing circumstances, and with them and ourselves changing, this is the simplest and perhaps the easiest kind of forgiveness. Fu
